Psalms, psalm 41 9: Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. 10: But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. 11: By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. 12: And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever. 13: Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen. Luke, chapter 17 3: Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. 4: And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him. Romans, chapter 12 12: Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 14: Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 17: Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 19: Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 21: Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. 2 Timothy, chapter 4 16: At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. 17: Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18: And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
